Random - an event in which every outcome has an equal chance of occuring.

For example : flipping a coin

spinning a spinner with four equal size options

rolling a die

selecting a card

Not everything in the world is random so there must be something that is not random. Like spinning a spinner with four unequal size options.

In 12 spins, it should land on blue 6 times, red 3 times and blue 3 times.

Goldilocks sits on 3 chairs and eats porridge. How many possible outcomes.

9 possible outcomes. 1/9 1:9 11%

Does Goldilocks choose the chair and porridge a random? Explain.

No because she has choice and preference.

P(just right chair and just right porridge) 9/9 9:9 100% because she has a choice

A marble is randomly selected from a bag that contains a red, blue, and 1 green marble. Then a 4 sided die is rolled.
