Probability - is the likelihood or chance of an event occurring.
Probability = Favorable outcomes/possible outcomes
eg. flipping a coin - probability 50% because there's two sides

Probability - can be expressed as a ratio, fraction or percent
eg. rolling dice - you have 1/6 chances of getting any number on the die


Outcome - one possible result of a probability experiment
- what might happen


Favorable Outcome - a successful result in a probability experiment
- what we want to happen
